Barrens has received a brand new update with brand new features and improvements! We thank you for the support since the initial launch of the game; we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you!

New Content

• Autoheal: A hotkey to heal quickly during battle. Press M to automatically consume a bandage or a med kit depending on the player's health.
• Enemy Teleportation: When enemies get stuck or are too far from the player for too long, the wizard summons a portal to teleport them near the player!
  
• 2 New Weapons:
  • Scar-L - A long-ranged gun that packs high damage, but with a slower firing rate. Great for defeating enemies from afar.
  • UMP45 - A short range gun that deals decent damage and has a very short reload time. Great for short-range combat.

• 6 New Upgrades:
  • Flaming Bullets - Some of your bullets inflict burning to enemies.
  • Reload Stability - Reloading a gun will no longer slow you down.
  • Bigger Backpack - Increase the maximum stack size of your inventory to 6.
  • Bigger Backpack - Increase the maximum stack size of your inventory to 6.
  • Lucky Coins - Chance to receive up to 2 lucky coins to grant free upgrades. There's a chance you won't get one!
  • Free Loot - Summon a supply crate near you.
  • Emergency Ammo - Receive 5 ammo packs.
  • If you select an upgrade that you already have, you will be compensated 1,000 cash!

Bug Fixes & Improvements

• The Machine Gun has been buffed - reduced spread, increased damage and increased magazine capacity size.
• The burning status effect now deals around 2x more damage.
  
• You can now press E again in the shop to close it. P can be pressed in the upgrades list to close it too. If you haven't known already, you can also press the ESCAPE key to exit out of menus with the "x".
• Heavily reduced the chances for enemies to drop heals.
• The supply crate now has a rare chance to drop weapons.
• Fixed some items in the shop not having a purchase limit when they were supposed to.
• Fixed some controls not working when holding shift (you can now swap items while sprinting).
• Increased the hitboxes of the "x" in menus to make them easier to click.
